Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury’s split leaves fans in shock
Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury have fans in shock after the pair gave an unexpected update on their relationship not long after becoming parents.
Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury have announced their shock split – five years after finding love on a popular dating show.
The couple, who met on the 2019 series of Love Island UK and got engaged in 2023, welcomed their daughter Bambi early last year.
But the pair have left fans “distraught” after confirming on their social media accounts the relationship had “come to an end”.
“Never in a million years did I think I’d ever have to write this,” Hague wrote.
“After five years of being together I never imagined our story would end, especially not this way.
“I am extremely upset to announce that mine and Tommy’s relationship has come to an end.”
“I will forever be grateful for the most important thing to me now and always, my beautiful daughter,” she wrote.
“Without us there would be no her, she will always be my priority.
“I want to thank you all for the love you have shown us over the last five years.
“You have all been a part of our journey and I feel it’s right to share this with you all.”
Shortly after, Fury released his own statement, confirming the break-up.
“I am heartbroken to share that Molly and I have decided to end our relationship,” he shared.
“The past five years have led us to having our beautiful baby girl, Bambi, and I will forever be thankful to Molly for making me a dad. Bambi is our priority.”
Both asked followers to respect theirs and their family’s privacy during “this difficult time”.
The news has left the UK in shock, with many fans taking to social media to declare “love is dead”, and add they were “distraught”.
“Every girl in the UK right now is devastated,” one wrote on TikTok.
“Genuinely can’t go to work today after this catastrophe,” another shared.
As one stated: “I’m literally so shocked. This was not on my 2024 bingo card.”
“Oh my God this can’t be real. NO,” lamented another.
Others speculated on what may have caused the shock split, with some noting the “differences” between their statements, as others recalled cheating rumours from the past.
“’Especially not this way’. WHATTT?” one shared.
“MY JAW DROPPED …” mused someone else.
Fears their romance was in trouble began after Hague, 25, shared on her YouTube channel that she once suspected Fury was cheating on her.
The star said she became concerned after Fury had become protective of his phone.
“My mind did somersaults, I thought, ‘Why is he shady about his phone who is he talking to?’” she said, in a video that has resurfaced following the news.
“My mind went to the worst option. I was staring out the window like I was in a sad movie.”
A few months later, videos of Fury partying with singer Chris Brown in a nightclub in Dubai while Hague was back home in England taking care of their young daughter went viral, sparking fears for their relationship.
In her most recent vlog shared last week, Hague explained she had been “solo parenting” for the last two weeks as Fury was away from home due to work.
The pair became the UK’s sweethearts after falling for each other on the cult TV series, The Sun reports.
Hague often called Fury, a professional boxer, her “world” and declared they were soulmates.
