Let’s be real, it doesn’t get much better than a good flavoured milk.

Sure, some might say it’s gross, but a good chocolate milk? Unbeatable.

However, Aussies like to push the boundaries a little bit when it comes to the flavours available in supermarkets, rather than just your standard strawberry and banana. Thanks to one TikTok, the range has made it to US viewers, and shockingly, they’re actually surprised.

Is there such a thing as Australian milk culture?

An American content creator currently in Australia, on TikTok as @kaylacaneat, has taken to the platform to share some unusual finds in a video captioned ‘cant stop won’t stop talking about Australian milk culture’.

“Just another day in the Australian milk aisle,” she wrote.

In the video, taken in a Sydney IGA, Kayla shows Dairy Farmers milk flavours like Waffle Cone and Mint Choc Chip. That’s normal, right? RIGHT?!

“These aren’t even weird?”

Aussies were quick to fill the comments defending their beloved flavoured milk.

“As an Aussie, is this not normal? it's just bottled premade milkshakes? unless milkshakes are weird too haha,” one commenter said.

“These aren’t even weird?” another said.

“mint choc chip milk is fire,” a third said.

Some even mentioned some other personal favourites.

“Chupa chup flavoured milk gets sold at my school canteen’”” one commenter said.

“Omg this made me crave a Masters spearmint milk,” said another.

But, the Americans weren’t so sure, saying it was completely unbelievable that we were able to beat them in a crazy food category (don’t worry guys, we’ll never match your sugary cereals!).

“how does this not exist in america­ i only ever see chocolate and regular milk,” said another.

“It’s incredible that we don’t have this in America this is the most American thing ever,” a third said.

But, thanks to the video, we wouldn’t be surprised to see mint or waffle cone milk hitting US shelves shortly.

“i wanna try that waffle cone milk now” one person commented.

“WHY DON’T WE HAVE THIS IN AMERICA???????” said another.

“Waffle cone?!? I would be making supreme lattes with that. Jealous,” a third agreed.

“I’m so mad America doesn’t have mint chocolate chip milk. I would probably actually drink milk at that point­” another said.
