Some debates feel as though they are never ending, and one of those is whether Tim Tams are stored in the fridge, or in the pantry.
Sure, you might put your chocolate in the fridge, but Tim Tams are technically biscuits, so does that make it different? Or, does it depend on the time of year?
Well, Arnott’s has come out and cleared it up for us once and for all - or potentially made it more confusing.

The final decider
Arnott’s has come out with a huge announcement which will see Tim Tams be stored in the fridge section at Woolworths.
“For the first time ever, Tim Tams have taken a cool turn, and are now stocked exclusively in fridges at your local Woolworths, but not for long,” they said in a video shared to social media.
“This limited time offer is so fresh, you need to act now and grab yourself a packet at your local Woolworths.”
However, if you’re not a fan of the fridge, they’ll still be where they always have been in the biscuit aisle too.
“For those who love them from the pantry, don’t panic! We have those too,” the video said.
Tim Tams will only be in the fridge until next Tuesday, January 28.

Sooo… fridge or pantry?
The announcement has caused division amongst fans of the snack, with many saying they couldn’t be more excited to see Tim Tams being stored where they belong.
“Team fridge all the way 🙌” said one commenter on Instagram.
“Fridge to keep them nice and cool👔 said another.
“fridge for sure! I would even try freezer😂” a third agreed.
“Fridge especially in summer @ 40 degrees! They melt otherwise! 🔥” another commenter said.
However, plenty said they should still to the shelves.
“Gotta be pantry,” one commenter said.
“Nice publicity stunt guys but chocolate and fridge don't mix,” another said.
“They should always and forever be room temperature! Having them chilled in the fridge is a criminal offence,” said another commenter.
“NOOO they should not be in the fridge that is highly illegal!😂” a fourth agreed.
