Revealed: Toowoomba’s cutest toddlers 2022

We were inundated with nominations and votes for Toowoomba’s cutest toddler. Now, after an extended voting period, we can reveal who has taken the crown.

Harvey Swinton, 3, Ruby Sage Mason, 1, and Isla and Ava Davis-Cook, 3, are winners in The Chronicle's top 10 cutest toddlers of Toowoomba competition.

They say opposites attract, and it seems that’s the case when it comes to twins, especially the duo who were crowned Toowoomba’s cutest toddlers for 2022.

Isla and Ava Cook, 3, were chosen by the public as the region’s cutest toddlers, after they were nominated in The Chronicle’s online poll.

While their parents Alex and Michelle Cook said they were surprised by the outcome, on some element they weren’t.

“I definitely think they’re the cutest kids in the world,” Mr Cook said.

While it was difficult to say exactly what made the girls stand out, Mrs Cook said the picture taken showed two little girls full of life.

“They look so happy and they’re smiling,” she said.

“They really enjoy being outside, and they love animals.”

The family currently has nine German shepherd puppies, which the girls love to play with.

Mr Cook said while the girls look alike, they can be complete opposites.

“They’re very outgoing and social little girls, and are very smart for their age,” he said.

“Isla is more outgoing and more spoken – she is more likely to get in a fight with you.

“Ava is very quiet and sweet. She’ll come up and give you a kiss on the cheek when you’re sitting on the couch, just because she can.”

The Chronicle recently shared a post calling for nominations for Toowoomba’s cutest toddler, and with more than 100 nominations, we put it to the public to decide.

It turns out that Toowoomba is full of adorable and cheeky toddlers who seemingly love the camera.

With an extended voting period, The Chronicle is pleased to unveil the top 10 cutest toddlers of Toowoomba, as decided by you, the reader.
