“You need to get onto this!”

Aussie mum of three Stephanie Ravenhall, on Instagram as @theravencollections, has taken to TikTok to share her genius hack to make lunch box prep easier.

“Using this Kmart container to prep the fridge for school lunches is a game-changer!” she said in the video.

“Mums, you need to get onto this.”

In the video, Stephanie can be seen cutting up fruit and placing it into Kmart’s Round Section Snack Box, which retails for just $10.

She then puts the container into the fridge and simply scoops portions out for her little ones over the course of the week, meaning she doesn’t have to cut up fruit every day for school. A huge win if you ask me!

“Great idea!”

Fellow mums in the comments were thrilled with the idea, saying they’d been influenced to try it themselves.

“Go mumma! Great idea. Looks so good too,” said one commenter.

“I have this, what a good idea instead of cutting fruit every night!” another person said.

“Genius! BRB off to Kmart again,” said a third.

“Love it! Great idea to make lunchboxes quicker!!” a fourth agreed.

“So smart! Would make the mornings so much easier,” said another commenter.

After being asked, Stephanie said that the fruit generally lasts her a week in the fridge without going bad, meaning she can have school snacks sorted from Monday to Friday.

It’s versatile!

Others in the comments were even inspired to use the hack for other purposes, like for sports games, or for just having fresh fruit at home.

“Oh I need this for after sport games for the kids!” one commenter said.

“And one for veggies,” another suggested.

“Omg even just fresh fruit in the house for the week,” a third said.

“I need this for an afternoon snack option!!” another commenter said.
