Olivia Molly Rogers has issued a statement surrounding her marital status after rumours emerged suggesting she had split from her husband of seven months.

Speculation surged over the weekend after eagle-eyed fans spotted she had quietly changed her name from Olivia Molly Mckeone back to her maiden name on social media.

Now the former Miss Universe Australia, who is now an influencer based in Melbourne, has confirmed she and husband Justin Mckeone have “made the difficult decision to separate as a couple” in a statement shared to Instagram.

“After 4.5 years together, Justin and I have come to the difficult decision to separate as a couple,” her post read.

“I do not wish to make any further statements about this in the near future.

“Please respect our decision and privacy at this time.”

Olivia, who beat 32 contestants to win the prestigious pageant title in 2017, went on to thank people for their kindness and support during the break-up.

Her emotional statement comes after the Herald Sun yesterday reported the pair had gone their separate ways just months after their lavish wedding ceremony at the Terindah Estate on Victoria’s Bellarine Peninsula.

In response, the 30-year-old had shared a cryptic message with her 189,000 followers, apologising for being “quiet” recently.

“I know I’ve been quiet on here recently – thank you to everyone who has reached out to me and checked in,” she said.

“I’m not quite ready to share what’s been going on just yet, and I might still be quiet on here for the next little while.

“I’ll still be posting here and there, and so appreciate your support. Lots of love, Liv x.”

Olivia and Justin’s wedding had been postponed due to the pandemic after initially getting engaged in 2019.

The couple met at the start of 2018 before going public with their relationship at the Aussie Formula One Grand Prix.

Despite dealing with her marriage breakdown, Olivia has been busy recently in her role as an influencer, attending a string of events in Sydney.

She lasted posted with Justin on August 18, sharing a selfie from a rooftop pool in New York.
