CC’s On The Range Bakehouse create unique cupcake creations for Carnival of Flowers

Toowoomba in September is a celebration of all things floral, and one bakery is getting in the Carnival of Flowers’ spirit with a creative cupcake creation.

CC’s On The Range Bakehouse has come up with a floral cupcake design, and shop assistant Zara Warby said they’ve been flying off the shelves.

“There’s been a lot of people that have come in and said that they’re not a fan of cupcakes but buy one anyway because of what they look like,” she said.

“When there’s events on in town we tend to decorate our cupcakes to suit what’s going on in town. It’s our way of getting into the spirit of things.”

Owner and baker Craig Trudgett said the floral cupcake theme would continue throughout the month during the entire Carnival of Flowers.

“We will vary up the design so they’ll be a little different but we will keep them going right through September,” he said.

“They look complicated but decorating them doesn’t take too long with a bit of practice.”
