But was it an accident, or is there a reason behind it all?

Now that there hasn’t been a Bluey episode in officially one year, and we’ve all watched every episode at least five times to fill the void, people are starting to notice little quirks that we didn’t see the first time.
This time, it’s a sound that would be completely normal in the real world. But for Bluey? A little strange if you think about it for too long.

“Why is there a jingle sound?”
A woman has taken to the Adult Bluey Fans Facebook group after realising a peculiar sound in the Bluey episode, The Pool, in season one.
In the clip, Bandit gets out of the pool before Bluey and Bingo, and tries to teach them how to shake - which, if you’ve ever seen a dog get out of the water, totally checks out. But, it’s the accompanying sound which has people doing a double take.
“Why is there a jingle sound when Bandit shakes himself after getting out of the pool?” the poster asked.
“He doesn’t appear to be wearing a collar, but if he is, then maybe it’s hiding under his fur….but why would he be wearing one? Lol.
“And why do the girls have to learn how to shake properly?? Lol.”

Is it an accident, or on purpose?
Some commenters on the post figured it may have been done accidentally, using an audio clip of a dog shaking with a collar.
“It's a sound bit of a dog with dog tags shaking,” one commenter said.
“I’m assuming the audio was just from a trained dog shaking and they just have a collar on,” said another.
“Probably just because we expect to hear a jingle when a dog shakes. Or there was no effect in the sound library of a dog shaking without one?” a third added.
But, others suggested that it was done intentionally, saying that he either has a collar, or that it was his wedding ring making the noise - or something in between.
“My guess is they don’t have wedding rings like we do, so maybe the men get a collar to show they’re married? Just a thought, lol,” one person suggested.
“Hear me out, maybe the reason the girls don’t wear a collar is because only married characters wear them like a wedding ring,” another agreed.
“The collar is the dog version of a wedding ring,” said a third.
Shake, shake, shake!
As for the second part of the question around why Bluey and Bingo need to be taught how to shake, commenters said it was common sense, and reflected the realities of life with a puppy, or a toddler.
“I mean kind of like kids growing up and learning how to dry themselves off? Hahaha,” said one commenter.
“I mean puppies have to learn how to shake properly and kids have to learn how to dry themselves properly,” another person said..
“Puppies have to learn how to be dogs, just like toddlers have to learn to be a child/teen. Have you ever seen a puppy shake after a bath? It's adorable AND hilarious,” said another.
