At the end of each season of MAFS, we usually get one or two couples which look like they might actually go the distance.
In the past, it’s been people like Cam and Jules, and Martha and Michael, who would each go on to get married and engaged respectively, and welcome children together.
But, this season is a little bit different, with the most consistent couple being… Jacqui and Clint?

Move over, Ryan!
For anyone who’s kept up with the behind the scenes of the show this season, Jacqui and Clint coming out as a couple was no surprise.
Jacqui has been posting photos in Clint’s Tassie mega mansion since before MAFS even started airing, and the two, in recent weeks, have even begun posting content together, leaving absolutely nothing to the imagination.
And, because of this, it seems like by the time the reunion was filmed, the relationship came as no surprise to the other contestants either.
In last night’s episode of MAFS, we reconnected with the contestants four weeks after final vows, in the first part of the reunion.
Couple by couple (or rather, person by person, with Rhi and Jeff unsurprisingly the only original couple left standing), the majority of the show’s contestants rolled in.
Though, of course, we had some key pieces of gossip to catch up on - like the ending of Dave and Jamie’s relationship, and why Paul all of a sudden thought his break up with Carina was his idea (as if we didn’t all watch him have an absolute meltdown on national television over the dumping) - Jacqui and Clint’s blossoming relationship was the topic on everyone’s lips.
At the time of the reunion, Jacqui and Clint getting together was nothing but rumours and whispers. Jacqui’s former TV husband Ryan said he even called both of them individually for confirmation, though neither was willing to admit it at the time.
But, over the course of the dinner party, it became clear that the rumours were true. Not only were they together, but Jacqui would be moving to Tasmania for Clint - complete with her very own vanity, tennis court, and half of the walk-in wardrobe. What more could you ask for?

Congratulations? I think?
Since the reunion was filmed six months ago, the two have appeared happier than ever.
Jacqui has absolutely been living with Tassie, sharing candid shots with Clint and his dogs regularly, in amongst all the pieces of show drama posted to her Instagram and TikTok pages.
And, they’ve apparently been so happy that it wouldn’t take long at all for the two to take the next step, with Clint proposing to Jacqui at a reunion party hosted by So Dramatic! last night.
Shared in a video to the @sodramaticpodcast_ Instagram account, Clint is seen popping the question in front of their friends - and other MAFS fans - at the public event, and it seems congratulations are in order.
“You’re amazing, and I know we’ve talked a lot about our future, and our future plans, and I know we signed up for Married at First Sight to get married and find a lifelong partner, so I’ve got one question for you,” Clint says, before getting down on one knee.
So… is this legit?
Needless to say, people have plenty of thoughts on the sudden engagement - namely Jacqui’s former partner Ryan.
At another party, hosted by the Daily Mail, Ryan made swipes at the legitimacy of the relationship, and proposal.
“I just want to say cheers to the happy couple,” he began, while holding a beer.
“It was completely candid and unplanned, not a publicity stunt, I'm so happy,” he continued, sarcastically.
Ryan also poked fun at Jacqui's background as a jeweller.
"Oh, [was the ring] Jacqueline Lee Jewellery, maybe?” he joked.
However, Jacqui and Clint continue to assert that the relationship is well and truly real, speaking to The Fox’s Fifi, Fev & Nick this morning.
“I’m in shock, honestly it happened so quick! I feel so lucky. I’m madly in love with Clint and I’m so excited. I’m beyond happy,” said Jacqui, when asked about the engagement.
Jacqui also said she’d heard about Ryan’s reaction to the proposal - adding that his negativity was not surprising.
“Ryan doesn’t take anything I do well. Nothing I do is good enough for him. He’s always got something negative to say, he can’t just move on. He’ll be like, ‘she’s cheating… it’s fake… it’s a publicity stunt’, I’ll have a kid and he’ll say that’s for publicity too!” she said.
