The streets and lanes of the CBD will be alive with music on the first day of May, as the popular Toowoomba Busking Festivals returns for 2021.
Dozens of performers are set to take part in the street-based, unplugged series of free concerts across different stations in the city centre.
Cash prizes will be on offer for the artists judged the best.
“This year, on May 1, we will be flooding the streets and lanes with music and giving buskers a chance to win cash prizes,” co-ordinator Deep Blue Events said on social media.
“This is an all-day family-friendly event with food, music, fellowship, and fun.
“Come out to watch buskers perform, grab a bite from local food vendors, and enjoy activities.
“It has been a long time since we have had much of interest to talk about thanks to our old friend COVID but things are starting to bubble away again finally.”
The festival had to go online last year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
