New Year’s Eve gallery: Toowoomba residents celebrate end of 2022 with bang

Toowoomba residents were ready to party as the city joined the rest of the world in marking the end of 2022 on New Year’s Eve. Check out our gallery of photos here.

After a massive 12 months, Toowoomba residents were in the mood to party as New Year’s Eve celebrates erupted across the city on Saturday night.

Families gathered in Queens Park to witness and incredible fireworks display by the Toowoomba Regional Council from 8pm.

But the pubs were also getting in on the action, with dozens of venues hosting special themed parties.

It was the perfect way to end a rollercoaster year, which featured plenty of divisive incidents and memorable moments for the region and the state.
