AFL legend and former coach Nathan Buckley has revealed his bizarre encounter with US heiress Paris Hilton during her 2003 trip to Australia.

The I’m A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here contestant, 49, said on the Channel 10 reality show that the millionaire socialite rocked up to his house for a barbecue, after his then-wife Tania Buckley gave Hilton some shoes from her South Yarra boutique to wear at Melbourne’s Spring Carnival.

You may remember this is when Hilton made local headlines for her brief liaison with Australian Idol contestant, Rob ‘Millsy’ Mills.

“In the end, she [Hilton] ended up coming over to our little place for a barbecue,” Buckley told the camp on Wednesday night’s episode, adding, “Rob Mills was waiting outside.”

“This is the conversation I had with her. She comes up to me with a full plate of food, in my house, [and says] ‘Fork?’” Buckley says.

“I said, ‘Sorry?’ and she goes, ‘Fork?’ I said, ‘They’re just over there.’ She just walked away and that was the only interaction I had with her.”

Elsewhere, MasterChef fan favourite Poh Ling Yeow divulged on her own celeb encounter, after attending a dinner party with the Duke and Duchess of Cornwall.

In the revelation, the 49-year-old TV star says she was discussing architecture with Prince Charles when the topic took a drastic turn.

“I got sat next to him, so I made sure I knew what he likes, I know he likes architecture so we mainly bantered about that,” Poh begins.

“But then out of the blue, I decide to use the word ‘dag’, and he goes, ‘Oh, what does that mean?’

“And I thought, oh this is happening.”

Instead of giving a watered down meaning of the Aussie slang word, Poh proceeded to explain its definition in excruciating detail.

“I go, ‘It’s kind of the dreadlock of poo that hangs off a sheep’s bum,’” Poh says.

“And he goes, ‘Well, you learn something new every day, don’t you.’”

While Poh doesn’t detail when the dinner happened, Charles is a renowned foodie and even made a guest appearance on MasterChef in 2018.

I’m A Celebrity continues tonight on Channel 10 at 7.30pm AEDT
