Married At First Sight’s Claire reveals details of secret Adam kiss

Married At First Sight’s “cheating” bride has lifted the lid on her off-camera kiss with a different groom, and suggested things between them turn ugly.

Married At First Sight bride Claire Nomarhas has opened up about the kissing scandal engulfing the reality show.

The 31-year-old kindergarten teacher, who is paired with celebrant Jesse Burford, 30, came clean on Monday night’s episode about “cheating” with a different groom, Adam Seed, 35, the week prior.

Jesse had earlier accused Claire and Adam – who is paired with TikTok star Janelle Han – of suspicious behaviour during the cast’s boozy night out, but was met with denials and told he was overreacting.

The controversial groom eventually apologised and admitted to having a jealousy problem, and had since rebuilt his relationship with Claire, leading to him admitting he was developing strong feelings for his partner at Sunday’s commitment ceremony.

The confession triggered guilt in Claire, who felt compelled to be honest with Jesse about kissing Adam.

Claire came clean about kissing groom Adam during a boozy night out.

Jesse was shocked by the confession.

Speaking on Nova’s Fitzy and Wippa on Tuesday morning, Claire divulged more details about the sneaky off-camera kiss.

Claire said it lasted “two seconds, three seconds max”, before Wippa asked who initiated the moment.

“I think it was a, it was a mutual thing. I mean …” Claire began, before Wippa doubled down on her. “Who kissed who Claire?”

Claire reluctantly said, “Um I don’t know I think … Do I just blame Adam?”

She added: “He’s a charismatic guy we got along, we’re laughing you know, and we vibed you know.”

Adam has not told his 'wife' Janelle about the kiss.

Hinting things could go south between her and Adam, Claire was asked if she thought about kissing the groom again.

“No I’ve thought about punching Adam,” she said.

A preview for tonight’s episode shows Jesse ambush Adam, the latter of which had urged Claire not to tell anyone about their secret rendesvouz.

“Think you better come with me bro,” Jesse is seen saying to Adam, before the pair get in a heated argument.

Cheating scandals have become somewhat of a yearly highlight among MAFS viewers, with at least one rocking the experiment each year.

Last year saw Carolina Santos and Daniel Holmes hook up behind their respective partners’ backs, while the year before that, Coco Stedman and Cameron Dunne did the dirty on their matches.
