A Married At First Sight cheating scandal is set to air tonight, with two of the show’s most unlikely stars involved in the betrayal.

Channel 9 teased a “shocking allegation” would unravel in Wednesday night’s episode, with an ad showing wild iPhone footage from the cast’s boozy night out in Sydney’s CBD.

Several cast members gathered at a local pub for a night off filming late last year, where it’s understood kindergarten teacher Claire Nomarhas, 31, who is paired with Jesse Burford, 30, hooked up with another groom, Adam Seed, 35, in scenes that will play out tonight.

While Claire and Jesse have been having their issues, the duo appeared to be making strides by the end of Tuesday night’s episode after connecting during Confessions Week tasks.

Meanwhile, Adam is paired with beauty influencer Janelle Han, 28, and had earlier confessed to his new wife he had been unfaithful in a past relationship – but had learned from it and wouldn’t do it again.

In video diary footage, Jesse is seen accusing his ‘wife’ of behaving inappropriately with Adam.

“The leaning in of Claire to Adam, and the touching of his arms,” Jesse says. “They left the table to be alone.”

Jesse says the pair ‘left the table to be alone’.

Later, footage plays of Adam saying to Janelle: “[That’s] bang out of order from him [Jesse], coming in here and trying to see my phone.”

Claire and Jesse are also seen in a tense exchange, with Claire saying: “What do you want from me? You are out of line!”

A narrator asks: “Has Claire been flirting with Adam? Or has Jesse’s jealousy got the better of him?”

Cheating scandals have become somewhat of a yearly highlight among MAFS viewers, with at least one rocking the experiment each year.

Last year saw Carolina Santos and Daniel Holmes hook up behind their respective partners’ backs, while the year before that, Coco Stedman and Cameron Dunne did the dirty on their matches.

In fact, there’s been cheating scandals on the show every year since season 5 back in 2018 – when inaugural cheaters Davina Rankin and Dean Wells started the storyline trend.
