Ioan Gruffudd has been pictured with his new girlfriend for the first time as his estranged wife shares explosive details of their split.

Ioan Gruffudd has made his first public appearance with his new girlfriend amid the fallout from his dramatic separation from his wife of 13 years, Alice Evans.

The Harrow star, 48, was pictured arm-in-arm with Australian actress Bianca Wallace, 29, walking down a street in Los Angeles.

The couple went public with their relationship in October, just under a year after Evans confirmed via a string of explosive tweets that Gruffudd had abruptly told her their marriage was over.

The estranged spouses share daughters Ella, 12, and Elsie, eight.

Evans, 53, has taken to social media with all the details of her shock split from the Fantastic Four star in recent months, which escalated after he went public with Wallace in October.

Gruffudd filed for divorce in March, citing “irreconcilable differences”, while Evans has regularly shared emotional updates on the breakdown of their marriage on social media.

She has publicly accused her ex and Wallace of engaging in a three-year affair after meeting on the Australian set of Harrow, and directly called the actress a “stealer of her husband” on social media, claiming she had “seduced” Gruffudd into leaving his “beautiful family”.

In November, Evans broke down on UK talk show Lorraine as she revealed her marriage split had left her so low she feared she might harm herself.

In her first TV interview on the breakdown of her marriage, Evans told host Lorraine Kelly: “I was one of those very complacent – what’s the Bridget Jones phrase? – ‘smug marrieds’.“I thought it was never going to happen to me.”

Evans added that her pain was compounded when she learned on social media in October that her estranged husband was dating Wallace.

He posted an Instagram picture of himself on set with his new partner and captioned it by thanking her for helping him to “smile again”.

The actor had blocked Evans from seeing his account just before making the announcement.

Dissolving into tears on a video call from her home in Los Angeles, Evans told presenter Lorraine Kelly: “I think I was owed more than an Instagram after 20 years and two children. It was a little bit cowardly.”
