CASSANDRA Thorburn has glowed during her first major red carpet appearance since her high profile split from Karl Stefanovic.

The 44-year-old looked fresh and relaxed in floaty pink frock as she arrived at the Women in Future Awards on Wednesday.

Standing against a media wall at the event in Sydney, Thorburn looked carefree and confident as she smiled and posed for photographers.

Looking tanned and toned in the flirty number, the mum-of-three kept her makeup natural and accessorised with tan heels, a gold clutch and simple silver jewellery.

It’s the first major public appearance for Thorburn since news of her split from Karl Stefanovic hit the headlines almost a year ago. As the divorce proceedings played out in the media this year, Thorburn kept a low profile.

Earlier this year, the former journalist began moving on with life as she and the kids shifted out of the family home to start anew. meanwhile, Stefanovic began a much-publicised romance with designer Jasmine Yarbrough.
