The Hangover actor Nathalie Fay has reportedly been arrested after an altercation with her boyfriend.
Fay who is originally from Montreal, Canada, was taken into custody by South Miami police on Saturday, according to TMZ.
Police responded to a call that the 36-year-old, whose real name is Nathalie Tordion, had allegedly punched her on-again, off-again boyfriend “square in the face”, reports TheU.S. Sun.
The man only identified as Brady told officers that he and Fay were set to go to the Miami Dolphins NFL pre-season game on the weekend.
However, when he arrived to pick her up, he claimed the actor had started asking him where he had been.
Brady was allegedly forced to show her a map of his whereabouts on his phone.
However, it was while he was on the phone that he claimed the actor punched him in the face.
He told police he immediately fled the vehicle to get away from her.
Fay was arrested for domestic battery, police told TMZ.
Brady refused to be taken to a hospital, insisting to responders on the scene that he would take himself.
The U.S. Sun has contacted Fay and the South Miami Police Department for comment.
While remaining quiet on social media about the alleged events that took place in Miami over the weekend, the actor did post a cryptic story on Instagram.
On Wednesday, Fay took to Instagram to ask followers to share their happy places with her.
“Post your ‘Mentally I’m here’ picture,” she asked.
Fay shared a video of a sun-dappled forest with a flowing river as the Enya song Only Time played in the background.
The actor has been in several movies but is best known for her role as Lisa, the hotel desk attendant, in the iconic 2009 film The Hangover.
Lisa is asked numerous questions about pagers and Julius Caesar by Alan Garner, played by Zach Galifianakis in the movie.
Fay has also featured in other comedies including Todd Phillips’ Old School, Due Date, and Blonde and Blonder.
She has not taken on an acting role since being in Layover in 2014.
Fay is a single mother to her 10-year-old son Noah Thomas and appears to have taken a step back from acting.
The actor is now working as a sales associate for Luft Real Estate, according to her LinkedIn page.
She is also the Director of Business Development at EZLotto in New York.
