Last week, Mary was photographed in a black midi dress with puffy sleeves, a statement hat and nude slingback pumps to honour the Danish Armed Forces on National Flag Day.

The Queen complemented her outfit with a large pearl necklace, matching bracelet and stud earrings as well as gold Cartier Love bracelets.

Flag Day on September 5 was first observed in 2009 to honour those who are or have been deployed on a mission for Denmark.
