Princess Catherine will attend the Remembrance Day commemoration

Princess Catherine will make a rare public appearance as she continues her cancer recovery. It’s one of only a handful of engagements of this scope she makes in 2024. Find out the details.

Prince William has had the most “brutal” year of his life

Princess Catherine will be front and centre at a weekend long commemoration of Remembrance Day this weekend.

Buckingham Palace has confirmed Kate will attend not only the Remembrance Sunday service at the Cenotaph but also the Festival of Remembrance at the Royal Albert Hall on Saturday.

Remembrance Day holds a special place for not just Princess Catherine but the entire royal family who take great care in honouring the sacrifices made by servicemen and women.

It’s delightful for news for fans of the beloved royal who have been hanging out for another glimpse of the future queen.

Kate made two intimate appearances last month – she met with a young cancer patient and also with the families and emergency services impacted by the horror stabbing of three little girls at a dance class in Southport.

However her upcoming presence at Remembrance Day will be an opportunity for crowds to catch a glimpse of their favourite princess as they did at Trooping the Colour in June and Wimbledon in July.

The news is particularly welcome as concern swirls about the health of Queen Camilla whose presence at Remembrance Day is in doubt.

The Queen had to unexpectedly pull out of all her public duties this week due to a nasty chest infection.

It also comes after her husband Prince William made emotional comments about Kate during his visit to South Africa.

William said the past year has been “the hardest year of my life” due to Kate’s cancer battle and also that of his father King Charles.

“Honestly, it’s been dreadful,” he said.

“So, trying to get through everything else and keep everything on track has been really difficult.

“But I’m so proud of my wife, I’m proud of my father, for handling the things that they have done. But from a personal family point of view, it’s been, yeah, it’s been brutal.”

Kate revealed in September that she had finally completed her course of chemotherapy.

The royals made the welcome announcement via an almost cinematic video of the whole rambling in the woods.
