Meghan Markle has announced a restock of her As Ever Rosé, after her first alcohol offering sold out in less than an hour.
The news was shared on the official Instagram account of the Duchess of Sussex’s lifestyle brand, As ever, with the post featuring an image of a glass of wine being poured on a beach.
It comes as the fate of Meghan and Prince Harry’s partnership with Netflix, which is also a passive partner in the As Ever product range, hangs in the balance amid claims the massive deal has been scrapped.
The five-year deal with the streaming giant is due to expire in September, with reports claiming Netflix has no plans to renew the agreement.
Details of the product are revealed in the latest As ever newsletter, which said the 2024 Napa Valley Rosé will be available for purchase next week.
It follows Meghan’s 2023 Napa Valley Rosé, which sold out less than an hour after it went on sale on July 1.
The As Ever newsletter spoke of the “love, time and effort” that founder Meghan had put into curating the wine.
“We hope you’ve been having a beautiful summer — enjoying the adventure of travel or the calm of home, finding beauty in the little things, and perhaps trying something new.
“This affirmed all of the love, time and effort our team, and our founder, poured into curating this blend to evoke the sun drenched spirit of Napa Valley, and the breathtaking tenor of the California Coast.”
“Thank you for filling our cup,” it continued. “Now it’s time for us to fill your glass! We are pleased to share that our 2024 Napa Valley Rosé will be available for purchase next week.”
When describing the wine, the As Ever newsletter painted a perfect picture similar to the vibe Meghan portrayed in her Netflix series With Love, Meghan.
“It marries the same harmony of notes from our first blend and creates an elegant medley of delicate yet memorable flavour. You’ll want to clink glasses with friends as the sun sets, toasting to a summer of joy.
“Barefoot or in sandals, dressed up or dressed down, this rosé may become your favourite accessory for alfresco lunches and dinners at dusk,” it read, signed, “Cheers, the As Ever team.”
The brand, which has been criticised for its high prices, has sold out of products including crepe mix, preserves, honey, tea and flower sprinkles.
A box of crepe mix will set fans back $21, while Meghan’s famous jam costs $14.
Prices for the wine are not available but are expected to be the same as the 2023 rosé, at just under $30 a bottle.
