Aussie model Erin McNaught’s ex-husband Example finds love with her friend and lookalike

Actress and model Erin McNaught’s rapper ex-husband is now dating her close friend – who looks just like the former Miss Universe Australia.

Rapper Example has found love five months after announcing his divorce, with a woman who is a dead ringer for his ex-wife, former Miss Universe Australia and Neighbours star Erin McNaught.

The Kickstarts singer – real name is Elliot John Gleave – is dating an art advisor from London called Daisy Cox, who has been living with him in Australia.

Weirdly though, Cox is close pals with his Aussie model ex, who he was married to from 2013 to 2022.

Alongside a photo of himself with the two ladies, who are practically indistinguishable, he wrote on Instagram yesterday: “In case anyone is wondering how me and Erin are doing… We are still besties.”

“This is us at the weekend with my partner. We are all just focusing on being positive, respectful adults and ensuring the kids are happy. That’s all that matters.”

Example, who has two sons with his ex, will be flying over to the UK soon for a series of festival shows and is also planning a tour here for 2024.

Example and Erin announced their split last October.

The chart topper told his social media fans at the time that the pair split up “half a year” earlier.

He wrote: “At the start of the summer we decided to separate. We had an amazing 11 years together, but a few too many adventures.

“Obviously we spent a lot of time behind the scenes trying to figure things out, but we came to the realisation that perhaps our time as a couple had just come to a natural end.

Addressing their two children together, he continued: “We have been Co-parenting happily and effectively now for almost half a year and our boys are surrounded with love.

“Erin and the boys flew to London for 4 weeks so Elliot wouldn’t have to go months without seeing Evander and Ennio. We had an amazing family holiday, and look forward to more in the future.”

The couple went on to explain they have the full support of their “closest friends and family” and would “appreciate space” from fans.

“If you see us out and about together it’s still the same old Elliot & Erin,” the post went on. “Though we spend a lot of our time apart we still enjoy time together. This is as amicable as it gets. Nobody is blaming anyone in all this. We are very happy that this is the right decision and hope that others can respect this too.”

“We have decided to go our separate ways while there is still an abundance of love and respect for one another.”
