Proven track record of exploration
Asra Minerals’ Leonora North and South gold projects sit within the Eastern Goldfields of Western Australia, an area of prolific gold mineralisation known for multi-million-ounce deposits.
The company is engaged in active exploration across the portfolio, targeting resource growth and new discoveries over prospective greenstone belts similar to nearby gold deposits and operating mines.
Ziggy Lubieniecki played pivotal roles in several major discoveries, including at the Gruyere gold project in the Eastern Goldfields, developed into a 6.2-million-ounce asset by Gold Road Resources (ASX:GOR).
“We are thrilled to welcome Ziggy to an active role supporting Asra’s broader geological team,” Asra Minerals incoming managing director Paul Stephen said.
“His extensive geological knowledge and proven track record in exploration and discovery will be an important asset as we accelerate activities across our project portfolio.
“I look forward to working closely with him to enhance our geological understanding and drive discovery success.”
ASR said Lubieniecki’s expertise would be invaluable in guiding exploration strategies, investigating new identified targets and extensions to current resources at Leonora South and North.
