Aussies across the country are gearing up for a relaxing few days as another long weekend appearoaches.

Commonly referred to as the “October long weekend”, the ACT, New South Wales, South Australia, Queensland and some parts of Tasmania will all have a public holiday on Monday, October 2.

Victorians are now on the back end of their own long weekend, after enjoying a day off on Friday ahead of the AFL Grand Final.

When every public holiday rolls around, it’s always a bit confusing what stores will be open. To make it a little easier, we’ve checked the trading hours for some of the big retailers so you’re not caught short.
