Three siblings who had been missing since Saturday have been found in NSW around 475km away from where they were last seen.
Geordi Finlayson-Walker, 9, and his sisters Sahara, 8, and Havana, 5, were found on the Pacific Highway, south of Emerald Beach at Coffs Harbour, about 7.30am on Monday.
They had not been seen since 11.15am on Saturday on Lakeview Road at Umina Beach.
Police were notified after they failed to return home, with family and authorities desperately concerned for their welfare due to their age.
NSW Police Commissioner Karen Webb shared the good news with 2GB host Ben Fordham on Monday morning.
“It’s a good outcome, we’re very pleased with the appeal and that we’ve been able to locate them,” she said.
She also said the children appeared to be well.
“It’s early days, but yes as far as we know yes they are OK,” Ms Webb said.
Police believed the children may have been travelling with their father Anthony Walker, 58, in a white 2010 Toyota Aurion sedan.
Police confirmed the children were located in a vehicle in the company of their father after they were stopped by traffic and highway patrol officers.
Police inquiries are continuing.
