COVID isolation rules could stop South Australia voters

South Australian residents are pushing for answers after more than 70 Covid swabs went missing from an Adelaide Hills testing clinic on Monday.

More than 70 South Australians have been forced to retest after dozens of swabs went missing from the Mount Baker testing clinic.

Local resident Sophie Vears said she had been in isolation for six days when she received a call from pathology to say her test had been lost.

“It‘s a bit frustrating that I’ve been at home waiting for a test that just wasn’t coming,“ she said.

Authorities have urged anyone impacted by the incident to come forward for retesting.

Investigations are ongoing.
