Appearing on Joe Rogan on Saturday (AEDT) gives Donald Trump another alternative forum to reach voters, particularly men.
Donald Trump’s big podcast adventure continues Friday (Saturday AEDT) when he is set to talk with Joe Rogan, a campaign official confirmed.
Rogan is one of the most popular hosts in the genre and gives Trump another alternative forum to reach voters, particularly men.
In 2022, Rogan said he didn’t want to have Trump on the program.
“I’m not a Trump supporter in any way, shape or form. I’ve had the opportunity to have him on my show more than once, I’ve said no every time,” he said. “I don’t want to help him, I’m not interested in helping him.”
But podcasts and YouTube shows have become an increasingly important tool for candidates. The former president has done numerous high-profile shows this campaign. Among them: Lex Fridman, Theo Von and Adin Ross. Vice President Harris has done some as well, including Alex Cooper’s Call Her Daddy. News reports have indicated she too was considering a chat with Rogan.
