Influencer goes public as mother of Musk child No. 13

Elon Musk’s progeny has grown to 13 if a conservative influencer is to be believed.

A prominent conservative influencer has claimed Elon Musk is the father of her five-month-old baby.

Ashley St Clair went public at the weekend, saying the world’s richest person, who is playing a central role in Donald Trump’s administration, had wanted to keep their son a secret for security reasons.

“Five months ago, I welcomed a new baby into the world. Elon Musk is the father,” Ms St Clair said on X. “I have not previously disclosed this to protect our child’s privacy and safety, but in recent days it has become clear that tabloid media intends to do so, regardless of the harm it will cause.”

Billionaire, Mr Musk, 53, has 12 other children by several women.

“My child is the most perfect thing that happened to me. I wouldn’t change anything,” Ms St Clair, 31, told the New York Post.

It is believed the pair are not in a relationship, but Ms St Clair, who used to write for Babylon Bee, a right-leaning satirical website, said Mr Musk was “funny” and “down to earth” when she met him on X in 2023 and began messaging.

Mr Musk did not comment directly on the claim. He did reply “whoa” when one X user alleged that Ms St Clair had been planning to have his children for a number of years.

Ms St Clair’s spokesman, Brian Glicklich, said on X: “Ashley & Elon have been privately working towards the creation of an agreement about raising their child for some time. It is disappointing that a tabloid reporter, who repeatedly ambushed Ashley and her family, made it impossible to complete that process confidentially.”

Ms St Clair alleges that Mr Musk wanted to keep the birth a secret and declined to put his name on the birth certificate.
