First Republican presidential debate: Candidates oppose Trump's prosecution, support candidacy

Only one of the Republican candidates failed to raise his hand when asked if they opposed Donald Trump's prosecution but most agree Mike Pence did the right thing on Jan. 6.

The first Republican debate of the 2024 election has ended, after the eight top candidates - minus Donald Trump - taking the stage in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
