Road Test: Lesypet dog umbrella
A doggy umbrella: what did your dog ever do without one?
What is it? The last word in pooch pampering: it’s a doggy umbrella!
Oh for God’s sake. Well, why not? We’re having a rainy summer, thanks to La Niña. And this umbrella won’t just keep your pet comfortable on walks – it’ll also mean no wet-dog smells in your home. So it’s actually a win-win. (Or a woof-woof, if you like).
How does it work? It’s like a regular umbrella, only inverted; plus, an attachment for a short leash extends from inside the 72cm-wide clear plastic canopy to the dog’s collar, so it can’t run away.
You mean, out of sheer embarrassment? You’ve got a point. I mean, look at the poor thing.
Anything else? Yes, Lesypet suggests that it’s only suitable for small dogs, which seems wise (see previous; a rottweiler might bite your leg in revenge). Lesypet suggests, further, that it is even suitable for cats. What are these people on?
