WHAT is it?

A device that keeps wine chilled after it's been opened. It comes with a pourer to prevent drips.

How does it work?
Place the stainless steel rod, which is filled with a special thermal gel, in the freezer for at least an hour. After you've opened a cold bottle of wine and poured the first glass, take the rod out of the freezer, screw on the dripless pourer and insert the whole thing into the bottle.

What's the point?
The wine stays chilled from the inside. It's a neat alternative to using cumbersome ice buckets and tacky coolers while drinking cold white in the blazing sun.

Any drawbacks?
Once you've poured out a glass for your thirsty companions there'll be no wine left for the device to cool. Lucky you've got those other bottles on ice ...
