Richard Roxburgh as Cleaver Greene, Rake’s depraved barrister

Narcissistic, impulsive, sybaritic and depraved barrister Cleaver Greene describes his life behind enemy lines.

The last time we saw you, your personal and professional lives were ticking along nicely. Surely you will manage to stuff that up? I challenge the matter and the tone of this question. My life, certainly, has been a topsy-turvy affair, but that has been due in large part to the unwelcome intrusions of those around me. Frankly, I think people are jealous of those they feel the Lord may have been overly generous to.

You have shown yourself to be narcissistic, impulsive, sybaritic and depraved. Do you have any flaws? Not that I know of. Again, what’s with the tone? (Off the record, have you been speaking to my ex-wife, Wendy? If so, I need to tell you that she is, as we say in the law, an unreliable witness.)
