Nad’s Nose Wax: not as painful as it sounds

IT’S a “world first” development in the field of nose-hair removal. But how much does it hurt?

WHAT is it?

Nad’s, a family-owned Australian firm, calls it a “world first” development in the field of nose-hair removal.

Oh, that awful grooming chore. Yes, there’s no dignified way to deal with it. Scissors up the hooter if you’re low-tech; a specialist electric trimmer if you’re not. They’re both horrible. So why not try waxing your nostrils instead?

The pain! Actually, the worst bit is the anticipation: after putting the wax-covered applicator up your nose, you must wait 90 seconds for the wax to harden – and you’re past the point of no return. But when you rip it out, it’s not too bad.

Anything else? Each applicator has a “safety tip” that stops you going up too far and accidentally pulling out something even ghastlier than nose hair. A bit of your brain, perhaps?

$19.95 (kit does eight applications), nads.com.au
