Cordy in the Clouds. Picture: Adam Haddrick. I met Cordy (it means “Spirit of the Sunrise” in the Tjungundji language of FNQ) and was mesmerised by his presence. He told me about going to an archaeology conference in India, where the locals greeted him as a holy man.

She works as a nurse and her hobby is taxidermy; she loves cowboys, going for drinks with the girls, and her pets. Here you can see one of her chickens (which died of old age) made into a red-eyed lamp. Felicity is a fierce, independent woman who is unapologetically herself.
