What is it?

Great news for the balding man. It’s hair in a can.

Get outta here! Well, not hair exactly; rather, it’s a spray-on product that binds to your own thinning locks, adding bulk and reducing the show-through of scalp.

Does it work? On the right sort of head — that’s to say, with hair thick enough for it to bind to — it’s quite effective (though close scrutiny will reveal Donald Trumpy funny business).

And what’s the wrong sort of head? One like mine: I have an 8cm-wide centre-parting. Only a hat will cover that up.

What are the alternatives for baldies? 1) Keep your hair short, and man up; 2) try a comb-over; or 3) grow a gigantic, waxed “distraction” moustache and wear a flannel shirt. People will think you’re a hipster! Or a wanker.
