WHAT IS IT? A phone app that harnesses the power of AI to radically improve human lives. We’re talking about a technology that’ll make us look unbelievably hot in selfies, people!
HMMM, THAT SOUNDS TERRIBLY VAIN AND FRIVOLOUS. Well, you stick with the baggy eyes, wonky teeth and blotchy skin (not that I’m judging) of real life, then. Everyone else is using Lensa on Insta – and on dating apps – to make themselves look drop-dead gorgeous.
I’M SOLD! HOW DOES IT WORK? It can be as simple as a single tap of the Magic Correction button: the AI will spring into action to “perfect your facial imperfections” in any photo. Or, for a more bespoke fraud, you can manually adjust things like your teeth whiteness, eyebrows, jawline and skin tone.
ANYTHING ELSE? Yes, upload a selection of selfies and it’ll create a digital avatar of you, which is very cool.
VERDICT: It’s all a bit of fun until you get an actual date. Then you’ll have some serious explaining to do.
