Lay-Z-Spa Santorini Hydrojet Pro: Road Test
It’s just what you and your closest friends need in the depths of winter: a heated spa that accommodates up to seven people.
WHAT IS IT?An inflatable spa that fits up to seven people, making it “perfect for weekend bonding with family or friends”.
PULL THE OTHER ONE. IT’S FOR SWINGERS, ISN’T IT. I don’t know what you mean. But the water heats up to 40C, and the HydroJet Pro massage system will soothe everyone’s aching muscles. Imagine how nice that’ll be on a wintry night!
HOW BIG IS IT? It’s about 2m across andweighs 68kg (or 1118kg when full of water). An automatic pump inflates the spa, heats the water and powers the chlorine filter system and massage function.
I SEE IT HAS BUILT-IN PILLOWS – BUT ONLY FIVE. Yes. Presumably you can sort that out with a game of musical chairs.
HOW DOES THE MASSAGE SYSTEM WORK? 10 HydroJet nozzles direct water jets around the spa – and 180 AirJet nozzles release bubbles from the base.
GOSH, WHAT A LOT OF NOZZLES. And that’s not all. It has integrated cup holders, underwater LED lights and space on the side wall for, say, a game of Connect4. Or champagne flutes and a bowl of car keys.
