A supermassive black hole at the centre of our universe has been discovered.

I’m not being hyperbolic about Tinder, astronomers unveiled the first image of "the turbulent heart" of our galaxy last night - the result of 100-years of searching.

This is the second image of a black hole ever taken.

The black hole, known as Sagittarius A*, cannot be “seen” because no light or matter can escape its gravitational pull. (Much like dating a sag).

But its shadow is traced by a glowing, fuzzy ring of light and, according to Professor Sera Markoff, an astrophysicist at the University of Amsterdam and co-chair of the Event Horizon Telescope science council, “matter that is swirling on the precipice at close to the speed of light before its eventual plunge into oblivion.” (Much like breaking up with a sag).

Over to the humanities now where TikTok, memes and Instagram posts are set to be included on the national English curriculum replacing "stale and and old fashioned" writing methods.

The federal government have given Deakin Uni $500,000 to explore ways to integrate digital writing into the high school education framework.

Love and light

From high school to school yard romance, Aussie singer G Flip dropped their new single, Get Me Outta Here, overnight.

The queer musician is known as both a bad ass musician and now “Chrishell from Selling Sunset’s new flame”, who they have coincidentally cast in the film clip.

The real-life couple pash in between vignettes of G Flip flipping the bird and singing about how many “f….” they don’t have to give.

The pair have made headlines this week following Chrishell’s shock split from her reality TV co-star Jason Oppenheim after their similarly public facing 7-month relationship.

G Flip thanked Chrisell for starring in the video and implored their fans to send her “all the love in the galaxy".

Greg Norman calls Khagshoggi killing a 'mistake'

Australian golfing legend Greg Norman has brushed off the killing of former Washington Post columnist Jamal Khashoggi in Saudi Arabia as a "mistake".

As a quick recap: Khashoggi had written critically about Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman. In October 2018, when he entered the Saudi consulate in Istabul to collect documents required for him to marry his Turkish fiancee, Hatice Cengiz, he never came out.

Norman is leading a series of Saudi Arabia-funded tournaments in England currently, and came under fire for his comments on the incident.

A similar vibe to Georgia Love getting blasted for taking a free trip with VisitSaudi earlier this year.

"Look, we've all made mistakes and you just want to learn by those mistakes and how you can correct them going forward," he said, praising the country for "the good (it) is doing in changing its culture."

Khashoggi's late fiance Cengiz said the comments were "so hurtful". "Would you say that if it was your loved one? How can we go forward when those who ordered the murder are still unpunished, and continue to try to buy back their legitimacy?" she told The Telegraph.

Boobs banned by bewbs

An advertisement spruiking a new range of sports bras by adidas has been pulled from British media.

The commercial showed 20 different women's boobs in an attempt to highlight diversity and that it's normal for breasts to come in a variety of all shapes, sizes and skin colours.

The UK’s Advertising Standards Authority investigated after receiving 24 complaints about the nudity it contained.

Of those who complained, they said that it was inappropriate, the nudity was “gratuitous”, and that it “reduced [women] to body parts.”

It involved women being photographed and included consensually to promote the bra range which includes 43 styles of varying shapes, sizes and colours.

The ASA wasn't having it and cancelled the ad commenting: “Although we did not consider that the way the women were portrayed was sexually explicit or objectified them, we considered that the depiction of naked breasts was likely to be seen as explicit nudity.”

No one tell those 24 narks about breast feeding.
