❤️‍🔥 Cara Delevingne donates a Big O to science

Good morning!

It's Tuesday, the rockmelon of days of the week.

Speaking of things that divide opinion.

Harry and Meghan's doco is set to drop on Thursday, December 8.

Cancel your plans, it's time to watch the world continue to cancel these two.

However we'll get another chance to learn what - Harry calls - "the full truth" on December 15 when "Volume II" drops.

If the internet doesn't completely melt by that stage.

At least Albo can watch in peace

As the Prime Minister has Covid, for the second time this year.

So too has the Aged Care and Sports Minister Anika Wells.

Albanese being out of action this week puts a dampener on the all important National Cabinet meeting in Canberra, originally slated for Wednesday in order to discuss what to do about the rising energy costs. The PM has floated the idea of "putting a cap on gas prices" of which some Premiers have lost their minds over, as the ultimate burden on that could come back to bite taxpayers in the hip pocket.

The Opposition called on Mr Albanese to reconsider his decision to cancel the meeting and hold it virtually instead.

“No one begrudges the Prime Minister taking the sensible precaution of isolating at home after contracting COVID-19,” acting Opposition leader Sussan Ley said.

“Over the course of the pandemic, hundreds of thousands of Australians have contracted COVID-19 and they have continued to work from home.

“In the Prime Minister’s statement this evening, he said he will continue to work from home.

“Indeed, the National Cabinet has met almost exclusively via telepresence since its inception in early 2020.

“Australians were promised cost of living relief would be delivered at this meeting of National Cabinet. They are relying on this meeting to take place.

“Hopefully the Prime Minister reconsiders his decision to cancel the meeting.”

Time will tell if this is the meeting that breaks the "this could have been an email" mantra about corporate life.

Parliament House is not ok

Survey results into the workplace culture of Parliament House have been released four years since being recorded then buried.

It seems like a place that is about as much fun as working for Gordon Ramsay in the 1990s.

The 2018 and 2019 reports show lack of respect or belief in the capacity of leaders and leadership teams within the public service.

Just 39% of respondents replied the senior executive teams were of "high quality".

Neither is the Liberal party

Things are not looking rosy for the Libs. After losing a bunch of state elections, almost being wiped out as an official political party in WA and then dropping the GF - the Federal election back in May - there has been lots of talking heads banging on about what's wrong with the right side of politics, turns out turning off young people is a big issue.

According to the Australian Election Study, published on Monday, only 1  in 4 voters younger than 40 reported voting for the Coalition at the last Federal Election.

“At no time in the 35-year history of the AES have we observed such a low level of support for either major party in so large a segment of the electorate,” the report said.

Drilling deep into the attitudes and behaviour of 2508 voters, the AES found 80% of voters supported constitutional recognition of indigenous Australians, as well as strong levels of support for a republic and a federal anti-corruption body.

As The Australian's Tom Dusevic reported about the nation’s most authoritative post-poll report, "The Coalition’s vote has fallen in almost every age group, with the collapse of support among Millennials and Generation Z likely to shape Australian elections and policy direction for years to come."

Mad Monday continues on Tuesday...

More than a week after the AFLW grand final that saw the Melbourne Demons have a win over the Brisbane Lions and delivering game legend Daisy Pearce her first premiereship - the victors are still at it.

The dynamic duo of Pearce and equally iconic Tayla Harris have gone and got matching tattoos .

Their new pieces are of a photo of the pair holding the premiership cup.

Grace Tame's fresh Twitter trouble

So Twitter is still cesspit however even more so for survivors of trauma.

Disgraced former teacher Nicholaas Ockert Bester - Grace Tame's abuser - faced court over charges of menacing, harassing, or causing offence to Tame with tweets.

According to court reports:

"Tasmania Police has alleged Bester committed the offences by making public social media posts on Twitter 'in relation to and directed to Grace Tame'.

"Tame reported the allegations to Tasmania Police earlier this year, and the convicted paedophile’s Twitter account, @nicobester3, has since been suspended."

Cara's greatest gift

Model and boundary pusher Cara Delevingne has put her daredevil schtick to good use by donating an orgasm to science.

Relax, it's for the BBC not some outlet with Hub in its name.

It'll guest star on Planet Sex, a six-part series she's worked on where her donation went to researchers who wanted to test the blood of someone before and after orgasm in an effort to understand the body’s chemistry.
