Mornington Pier charged home but just missed first-up. He won second-up last time in and can do so again on Thursday.

NEXT BEST

LADY POTATO HEAD (Race 3 No. 6 - $5.50)

Lady Potato Head was solid again over 1415m at Sale last time. She’s up to 1600m and blinkers co do the trick this time.

IMMORTAL SHIELD (Race 5 No. 10 - $5)

Immortal Shield did his best work late on the synthetic at his third run. He’s back to turf and should be thereabouts again.

VALUE BET

AND FOUND (Race 6 No. 12 - $10)

And Found raced on the pace to break her maiden at Seymour. She’s up in class but the Godolphin filly could measure up at Cranbourne.
