As in most areas of life, being organised pays off. When it comes to travel, booking hotels, flights, cruises and tours way in advance will often net you the best deals and lowest prices.
If you’re planning to travel in 2025, there’s a plethora of travel-centric savings to be made in this year’s Black Friday sales. All you have to do is decide where you want to go, work out your travel dates and get booking.
In terms of Black Friday shopping strategies, it’s best to stay focused. While you may be flexible about which airline you’ll fly with or your rough dates of travel, if you’ve had your heart set on a trip to Thailand or Italy in 2025, keep this in mind before getting swept away by the best deals. And always remember the cardinal rule of travel: do your research. While many of the best Black Friday deals are already up and running, spend some time researching your trip before making that booking.

Here, we round up some of the best deals for hotels, flights, cruises, tours and travel accessories during the Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales period.

ACCOMMODATION
From hotels to luxury packages
● Expedia: members save 30 per cent or more on selected hotels until December 4. Stay by December 15, 2025.
● Booking.com: save up to 35 per cent on accommodation if you book by December 4, 2024, for stays until the end of 2025.
● Trip.com: up to 50 per cent off hotels when you book using the app, capped at $100. Promo code for $60 off NSW hotels when you spend at least $600.
● InterContinental Hotels Group: IHG One Rewards members receive 25 per cent off global bookings for stays completed by April 30, 2025. Non-members receive 17 per cent off. Members also receive up to 40 per cent off at participating Iberostar Beachfront Resorts properties in Mexico, the Caribbean, Spain and more. Stay must be completed by December 20, 2025.
CRUISES
From adults only to family friendly
● Celebrity Cruises: up to 75 per cent off second guests in the same stateroom; up to $600 off for sailings between November 28, 2024 and May 10, 2027.
● My Cruises: deals on a number of international cruises, including the 64-night Ultimate Europe Rome to London starting from $24,990 per person if you book by November 30, 2024.
● Virgin Voyages:40 per cent off all voyages including Virgin’s newest itineraries, plus up to $455 in free drinks. Valid on all voyages through to 2026.
TOURS
Save on tours to suit every budget
● Insight: save up to 30 per cent on daily deals for 2025 departures and up to 15 per cent off Business class tours, plus Global Tour Rewards members save an additional 5 per cent.
● Trafalgar: save up to 30 per cent on daily deals for select worldwide tours and Global Tour Rewards members save an additional 5 per cent.
● Contiki: up to 25 per cent off selected trips.
● Red Balloon: up to 25 per cent off selected adventures, including scenic flights, wining and dining, driving experiences, getaways and cruises.
● Adrenaline: 10 per cent off all experiences, including skydiving and V8 motoring, sitewide.
● Klook:up to 20 per cent off Japan trips, discounts of up to 30 per cent off Bali trips, and free Genie+ at Disneyland Resort California.
● APT: $1000 off per couple on any trip more than eight days long for departures in 2025.

● Mix & Match: up to $120 off flights across all destinations and airlines.
● Webjet: savings exclusive to Webjet members available from November 28.

● Qatar Airways: Privilege Club members save on flights to Athens, Amsterdam, Paris,
Zurich and more, using the code BFAU24, on select flights departing from now until 25 November, 2025.
