WHO WE ARE
St Michael’s Collegiate School is an ELC-12 Anglican girls school offering a blend of tradition, innovation and world class experiences. Our campuses are set in beautiful grounds in the heart of Hobart and are the perfect base to explore the natural wonders of Tasmania.

OUR KEY STRENGTHS
● We are the only all-girls boarding school in Tasmania.

● Our boarding house is the first in Australia to meet the Australian Boarding Standards for Schools (AS 5725).

● Our experiential learning approach encompasses outdoor, project-based, service and global learning.

● Our teachers are specialists in their fields – more than 10 per cent hold a doctorate.

ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE
● In 2023, 19 per cent of Collegiate year 12 students on an ATAR pathway scored above 95.00, and 36 per cent scored an ATAR of 90.00 or higher. The median ATAR was 87.5.

● One student achieved an Outstanding Achievement in Vocational Education and Training (VET) award, and two students received nominations.

● The Innovative Futures Lab provides cutting-edge facilities for science, mathematics, design and technology and gives our students the spaces and tools to collaborate and work across disciplines and tackle real world problems.
