An Australian woman has accused comedian Russell Brand of exposing his penis to her in a bathroom while at a Los Angeles recording studio.

An Australian woman has accused comedian Russell Brand of exposing his penis to her in a bathroom while he was in Los Angeles to record his radio show for the BBC.

On Sunday night, 60 Minutes reported that the woman, using the pseudonym “Rachel” on the TV program, said she was followed into a bathroom by Mr Brand in 2008 after he was taken to a recording studio in Los Angeles.

Rachel was working in a space in a building shared with the BBC at the time.

Rachel said she was squatting down to reach inside a bathroom cupboard for medication to deal with a sinus-related issue, and said when she turned around, “there was a groin in front of me”.

Rachel said Mr Brand called her “a bit all right” before saying, “I’m gonna f**k you”. After she said no, Rachel said he pulled his penis out and served it to her “as you would a dish”, while repeating his last phrase.

Mr Brand was then interrupted by a knock on the door calling him back to the recording booth. When she went to a BBC worker to complain, he replied, “Yes I know, he’s talking about it on air.”

“I won’t be able to drag her off into a cubicle and show her my pubicles,” he joked on The Russell Brand Show, to which comedian Matt Morgan replied, “25 minutes since he showed his willy to a lady”.

In a statement to the BBC, Morgan said he was “not aware until now” of the nature of the incident between Brand and Rachel and condemned any mistreatment of women.

Rachel said the incident “made me sick”, and that she’d felt afraid to come forward with the allegation until now.

Four women interviewed by The Sunday Times and Channel 4 TV’s Dispatches in Britain have accused Brand of sexual offences, including rape, between 2006 and 2013. Brand denied the allegations and said all of his relationships have been consensual.
