Scott Morrison says in the coming "weeks and months" Australia will have enough Pfizer jabs to vaccinate children. Australia's immunisation panel is finalising its interim advice on vaccinating 1.2 million children aged 12 to 15 ahead of Friday’s national cabinet meeting.

NSW has recorded 919 locally acquired cases of Covid-19, marking a new peak in the state's daily case numbers.

Anthony Albanese has thrown his support behind the Doherty Institute’s national reopening plan, after weeks of uncertainty and accusations Labor was attempting to derail the program. 

Victoria has recorded 45 new local virus cases today, 28 of whom were infectious in the community.
