The PM says NSW's international border won't open for tourism next month, as Australian citizens and residents get first priority, after the state scrapped quarantine.

Scott Morrison says NSW's international border won't open for tourism when it opens next month, and Australian citizens and residents will be given first priority. The announcement comes after NSW Premier Dominic Perrottet revealed home and hotel quarantine would be scrapped for fully vaccinated travellers from November 1. Victoria recorded 2179 new Covid-19 infections and six deaths; NSW had 399 infections and fourth deaths.
