‘Have you read Matthew 6:5-6?’: Kristina Keneally labels PM a hypocrite

Labor senator and devout Catholic Kristina Keneally has taken aim at Scott Morrison’s faith.

The Prime Minister was photographed on Easter Sunday praying at his local church, but Senator Keneally tweeted today that he was a “hypocrite”, referencing the Gospel according to Matthew.

Recently, Mr Morrison allowed cameras in as he attended Horizon Church, in Sydney’s Sutherland Shire, for an Easter Sunday service.

Sheridan: Hands up for your faith

“Today is a reminder of the great hope and the reason for that hope is the reason we celebrate today,” Mr Morrison told reporters that day.

“It’s a very special time for me and my family but I know for people around the country and frankly all around the world.

“We all go through times when you feel as though things have been messy but the resurrection is there to show us the future that … there’s always hope on the other side.”
