NSW Police are investigating Australian star Jacob Elordi over an altercation at a Sydney pub
Australian actor Jacob Elordi is alleged to have assaulted a reporter outside Sydney’s Clovelly Hotel, with NSW Police investigating.
Police are investigating allegations that Australian actor Jacob Elordi assaulted a reporter outside a Sydney eastern suburbs pub.
Elordi, 26, was reportedly approached outside the Clovelly Hotel by Joshua Fox, a Tiktoker and KIIS FM reporter, about 3.30pm on Saturday after the Hollywood star had been at the pub for a few hours.
It is unknown if Fox, 32, questioned Elordi on behalf of KIIS.
There was an alleged altercation after Elordi took offence to Fox’s line of questioning, allegedly assaulting him before leaving the premises.
No charges have been laid and authorities have not interviewed all parties. Police confirmed Fox was unharmed and has declined to provide an statement to them. Police also said they were reviewing CCTV from the hotel.
Fox went to Waverley Police Station after the incident, where he reported the incident.
Elordi has had widespread success in his Hollywood film career, beginning with a breakout role in Netflix’s Kissing Booth films. He was praised for his roles in the HBO TV series Euphoria, as well as current hits films Saltburn and Priscilla.
He moved to Los Angeles in 2017 to pursue his acting career, but is believed to have been in Australia for an extended period, following the production of his Australian miniseries The Narrow Road in the Deep South.
