Last Post: Profligate spending will hurt nation’s future
It seems appropriate and fair that the generations that will probably elect a Labor-Greens coalition will be the same ones that will spend their lifetimes paying back the debt created by their profligate spending.

Why are no questions put to federal Labor about whether it will, if elected, pursue treaty negotiations just like the Labor states are doing, in defiance of the will of the voters not to as clearly expressed at the voice referendum?

Great to see the Prime Minister among Sydney’s Royal Easter Show animals; he did realise the GOAT pavilion referred to the livestock rather than his leadership legacy?

Win at any cost. It shows just how desperate things have become when you see Mark Dreyfus preferencing the Greens and the Coalition preferencing One Nation.

Allow me to make an outside-the-box suggestion. If the election result is a potentially hung parliament with the Greens or teals or independents holding the balance of power, then the ALP and the LNP must form a grand coalition, with shared powers, to govern in the best interests of all Australians.

I think I might have solved a couple of Australia’s major current problems – immigration and defence. All migrants between 18 and 40 should be required to do one year’s national service.

Russia warns of a third world war so it makes strategic sense for it to hold talks with Indonesia to create a military base there. Yet Albanese says there is nothing to see. This government has taken its eyes off its most important role: to ensure the security of our nation.
