Former Goldman Sachs partner and Australian head of securities Nell Hutton has sold her Hamptons-style Umina absolute beachfront property known as Emerald Cove just two years after buying it, for $3.9m. Hutton, who recently joined Westpac as head of financial markets, bought Emerald Cove on the NSW Central Coast from a syndicate of buyers including mortgage broker and Finsure managing director John Kolanda, Jennifer Davitt and Adrian Lee, paying $3.225m in 2018. The five-bedroom and three-bathroom Berrima Crescent property is on 3169sq m. The sale was handled by Central Coast Realty agent Stuart Gan. In Sydney, Hutton and her husband Hamish recently paid $9.2m for the historic Wollstonecraft spread, Dunaird, in one of the leafy north shore suburb’s biggest deals.
Retro shack goes for $2m
Just 20 minutes away from Umina, high-powered Woolworths chief financial officer Stephen Harrison and his wife Emily have quietly bought a NSW Central Coast bolthole, shelling out $1.96m for a retro beach shack with expansive ocean and headland views in the charming village of Killcare. The Grandview Crescent property has views over Bouddi National Park and the Putty Beach headland. It is potentially a knockdown albeit in a spectacular location. Positioned on 670sq m it is about 70 minutes’ drive to the Sydney CBD. It was sold through local Ray White agent Lea Turner and Jeremy Martin.

Bedrooms for Brady Bunch
With its sunken main lounge and exposed brickworks, Charmian Grove reckons her house in Sydney’s wealthy Riverview has a certain Brady Bunch charm. The Deloitte management consultant is selling the split level property with a price guide of $2.4m in a bid to downsize. The four-bedroom Aminya Place house is billed as a “stylish sanctuary” and Charmian says it has three stunning new bathrooms plus a glam couple’s ensuite and a saltwater pool. The marketing agents are Belle Property Lane Cove’s Simon Harrison and Kim Walters.
