Former NSW Nationals MP Katrina Hodgkinson, once a minister in the Barry O’Farrell and Mike Baird Coalition governments, has listed her stunning Berrima farm in the state’s Southern Highlands with a price guide of more than $6m. Hodgkinson, the former minister for primary industries and small business, has listed her 100-acre (40.5ha) farm through The Agency’s Ben Olofsen. The five-bedroom, four-bathroom 470sq m homestead features french windows and doors, and views of the lush surroundings from most windows. Highlights of the Oxleys Hill Road property include a Cheminees Philippe fireplace, office space and a couple of concealed study nooks. The head of funds research for a private wealth management company, Jason Coggins, is taking a sea change, selling his Victorian era terrace fronting 73 Hargrave Street in the trendy Sydney suburb of Paddington. Positioned between the Woollahra Village and Five Ways and perched high on a sandstone ridge, the northeast-facing terrace is spread over three levels with four bedrooms and a master suite offering Harbour Bridge views. Selling agent Sam Towndrow of Ballard Property has put a buyer’s guide of $2.75m on the property.

Engineer Graeme Anderson, the former chairman and managing director of Otis Lifts, has sold his upper north shore estate after only 10 days on the market for $8.5m. A north shore-based family purchased the Trenayr estate on 3495sq m at 28 Nelson Street through McGrath Lindfield agent Glenn Curran. Built in 1917, the five-bedroom and four-bathroom property last traded in 1965 for £36,000 when sold by former NSW Supreme Court judge Martin Hardie.
Byron sells within 5 days
One of Byron Bay’s most prestigious beachfront mansions fronting Wategos Beach has sold within five days of hitting the market as interest in the northern NSW township reached fever pitch. Long-time Byron Bay holiday maker Geoff Morgan, co-founder of recruitment firm Morgan & Banks, and wife Ros, have sold their four-bedroom home at 35 Marine Parade, Wategos Beach, for up to $22m through Michael Coombs, founding agent of LJ Hooker Avnu. Mr Coombs would not comment on the identity of the buyer nor the price. The architecturally designed house hit the market last Friday with expectations of around $20m to $22m. Mr Coombs had interest prior from Sydney buyers and expats from Hong Kong. Features include a heated wet-edge pool along with resort-style entertaining spaces.The Morgans sold because they were not using it as much as they once did.
