Ex Sydneysider Dave Sansom appointed Cushman senior director in Nashville

Among the biggest recent moves in the industry, a former Sydneysider working at JLL has won a senior role in Nashville and Channel Capital makes a big Queensland appointment.

Former Sydneysider Dave Sansom is making waves in the US.

He has been appointed senior managing director and city leader for asset services at Cushman & Wakefield in Nashville, Tennessee.

He will oversee a staff of 108 at the agency which is the second largest property management firm in the city.

The University of Western Sydney alumni has been in the US for over eight years working with JLL in Nashville and Dallas after a stint at the agency’s Sydney office in 2013 where he spent three years.

Mr Sansom started his career in Sydney in leasing and sales with Knight Frank in 2008.

Channel Capital has employed Samuel Mirls its Queensland distribution director. Channel Capital provides a range of services including incubation, operations, distribution, marketing and responsible entity services to eight investment management firms with assets worth $18bn. Mr Mirls was previously business development manager with Grant Samuel Funds Management.

Joshua Bush has left Colliers International’s Sydney office after six years and joined real estate and hospitality investors Mulpha International as a group leasing executive — retail & office. He started his career with Raine & Horne on the northern beaches.

After more than six years with Herron Todd While Michael Simson has joined Opteon’s Brisbane office at 100 Edward St. He will be the director — residential development valuations. He was previously associate director at Herron Todd White.

Solicitor Adwar Alkhamesi has joined property specialists Conveyancing.com.au in Sydney. He was previously with John & Co Lawyers and before that Maatouks Law Group.

Jessica Scriven has joined engineering and development consultants SMEC as a senior urban designer in Fortitude Valley, Brisbane. She was with RPS for almost 18 years working with leading land development companies and consultants across Queensland, NSW, Western Australia and New Zealand.
